Background/History:
Spending so much time with her father after the death of her mother and some
residual effect of the mystical energies from the Nexus apparently gave Cristy
powers very similar to her father. Dealing with her powers, as well as the fact
that her father is one of the richest men in the world, created a problem for
Sound Wave. He was trying to come up with a solution when Shock Wave’s widow
called him about her son having powers like his father. He came up with the idea
of the Junior Protectors to teach and protect younger children and the Academy
to train the older ones. She grew up in the Junior Protectors, fell in love with
Ripple now Shockwave, and graduated to the Academy.
Personality and Motivations:
A smart, friendly girl who had the best traits of her mother and father, she
grew up into an above average teenager who handles her powers quite well. Thanks
to her father’s wealth, she has always enjoyed the good life, but as opposed
to many, has always had her father around to teach her how to act about it. She
is a hard worker and wants to master her abilities, but is still a teenager with
many options as to where her life should go.
