Background/History:
Nothing is known of Timmy’s early life or the whereabouts of any family. He
seemed to have appeared out of nowhere in NYC. He was hungry and wanted a
gumball. He had no change, so he simply picked up the machine and started
shaking it. It took four police officers to tackle him and a tazer did virtually
nothing to him. At first, they thought he was a large, mentally challenged man,
but he was far too strong for that. They called the Protectors and Mammoth
arrived. He was able to subdue him and, then, they realized he was a seven foot
tall ten year old. He seemed to have a good working knowledge of language and so
on for a ten year old, but no memory of his past at all except for his name.
Since the proper authorities had no way of handling a super strong adolescent,
they asked the Protectors for help. Having recently founded the Junior
Protectors to handle super powered children, they took Timmy in. Mammoth took a
special interest in the boy since he knew all too well the difficulties he was
having trying to learn to control his strength and deal with his size. Timmy
accepted the Jr. Protectors as the family he had never had and took to the
training very well. Mammoth and Shadow Dancer practically adopted him and he is
very dedicated to making them proud.
Personality and Motivations:
He is a shy, reserved kid who still is prone to losing his temper. His maturity
level has grown consistently as has his control over his still growing strength.
The older he gets, however, a certain level of bitterness over his freakish size
has crept in as he realizes he can never have a normal life. He is attached to
his fellow Jr. Protectors, especially Ripple and Hummingbird, as if they were
his brothers and sisters and cannot wait to graduate to the Protectors Academy.
He intends to work as hard as he can to be the kind of hero that the Protectors
will be proud of.
