Firstly
constructed as
an ornament consisting
of a grotesquely carved figure of a person or animal, Gargoyles were made
and placed on buildings, such as churches, to scare off evil spirits.
But there was something more to the gargoyle than people realized. Some Gargoyle are more than stone statues. Brought to life my the magick of a Witch, Preist/ess, or Mage, the stone figure came to life--yet still is bound to an area to protect it--under the command of whomever brought it to life. Servitude is the life of a Gargoyle. If you want to play this Dark One and want to be anything more than this-- PLEASE consult a GM. Exterminate an animate Gargoyle: Explosive means or destroy the magic user who gave 'life' to it.
