When first risen, it has memory of former life. The longer it is awake, the more it loses that memory (which is VERY quickly).

 When controlled by it's Mage, it will obey any command it is directed. They have no conscious thoughts of their own. They cannot be sustained for very long, unless drastic measures are used. You can feed a zombie raw flesh which will help it retain it's life-like appearance.
 

Can be eradicated by finding the Mage who controls it or is killed by a blow to the head as well as decapitation.
