Welcome! Thank-you for visiting our site. The Sparling Group is a family business that was established in 1993. It is run from deep within the Devon countryside.

All of our business is conducted from Hayedown Industrial Estate. Here is a list of our services and some general information.

We run a reliable skip hire service for the local area and we rent out units on the industrial site for others to conduct their businesses from. Much of the waste brought in via our skip hire service is sorted at the transfer station or recycling centre and much of the waste is then sent on to other sites for disposal. Any inert waste that comes in, can be tipped on site and then sold on to other customers. Inert waste, is by definition waste such as soil and building rubble and at the on-site inert waste tip site, this material is screened, crushed and sorted. Anyone who wishes to tip this sort of waste at our site is welcome to do so. Building contractors tip at our site from the waste left over from building the foundations of stores such as Safeway. The end product of this process is a variety of different quality inert material. Garden soil is produced and is sold on. So, much of our work is to do with re-cycling. The Sparling Group also operates a tipper haulage service.

The Sparling Group is run by Roger Sparling who has lived at the site for most of his life. Our secretary is Gillian and we are very grateful to her for her constant hard work and reliability!

If you would like a quote for hiring a skip out and you live in the West Devon, East Cornwall or Plymouth area of the south-west, please don't hesitate to contact us. Skips are usually around £82 + vat and are suitable for builders and contractors as well as for members of the general public who are refurbishing their home etc. We deliver and pick up the skips to/from you.
