ANY CHARACTER
When Batman/Superman OverPower came out with those stupid Hero & Villain codes, the powers-that-be had to change the name of Any Hero specials to Any Character. These are also the most recent of the specials that can be played by anyone on your team. Unless you're using DC, then ya have to worry about the stupid code rule.
ARKHAM ASYLUM (BC) (V)
Play when opponent's Hero is KO'd. Reserve must skip a battle before entering.
Hey, it CAN be useful. Not only does it limit your targets, but it limits their attackers as well. For one whole battle, you get to beat up on only 2 people, without worrying about a third party kickin' the crap out of you.
BASTION (ZZ)
Negate the effect of any 1 Special card. This card may be Placed. If Placed, may only negate an "Any Hero/Character" Special.
Now here's an Any Character you better not be doing without. We had to work to get ours, and Bastard's worth it. You usually don't have to stress out whether to place it or not, since your opponent is most likely to have some food for this card.
THE BATCAVE (AJ) (H)
You may look at top 3 cards in opponent's Draw Pile.
The mighty Batcave, and this is what they came up with? Maybe we can get a variant "No Man's Land Batcave" Any Character that we'll actually use.
CONFUSION (DB)
Avoids all attacks from 1 Teamwork card, or Target Character must discard 1 Placed Teamwork card.
Hey, the DC version of Marvel's Wolvie or Rogue. Sure, go ahead and use it. People like to go heavy on teamworks, so you'll probably get some use out of it. But first promise us that you know how to use it! Probably still too many teamwork-knowledge-deprived individuals out there. It ain't that tough, we'll explain it to you when you're older.
DEAL WITH THE DEVIL (BW) (V)
Opponent must discard top 2 cards from Draw Pile into Dead Pile.
This one could help you out a bit if one of those two cards is a big attack or nasty special. If you have this card, you can use it, or you can not use it.
DEATH FROM ABOVE (AA)
Parademons swoop in and make a level 4 Fighting attack! Any character may make 1 additional attack.
Another cheap immitation of the Marvel Any Heroes. Um, even though we aren't normally too fond of the AA, this could work if it's not in a Fighting deck. Whatever.
DEVOURER OF WORLDS (OD)
Play during battle. Opponent cannot use Activator cards for remainder of game or until this Special has been attacked with 4 Activator card attacks. This Special may not be negated.
The mighty DoW!! This special has kicked many butts in its day. Sit back and watch the big G chomp down on your opponent's stomping grounds. One of the best Any Characters out there.
FLIGHT (AG)
Avoid 1 attack. Counts as a duplicate of all "Any Hero/Character" AG Special Cards.
Hey, it's a Guardian wanna-be! Definitely gotta use this one. It's a classic. Just gotta use it.
THE FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE (EN) (H)
Play on your turn to concede battle. All Mission cards Ventured this battle return to piles they were Ventured from. This card may be placed.
Swell. Let's say you're down a couple of cards, and don't have a wide array of defense. Head to Big Blue's Fortess of Solitude, and no harm done when you concede!! You can place it to one of your characters too! But we've got to warn you; think twice before using this to totally screw up the game for your opponent... You'll find out why the "Fortress This!" t-shirt was made!
GUARDIAN ANGEL (AG)
The Guardian gives warning. Any character may avoid 1 attack.
DC's version of the Guardian Angel. As stated under Image's "Flight," use it.
JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA (AC) (H)
Attack made on Front Line Character is now made on any other Front Line character.
The explosive JLA! Here's a card that could be of great use to you and your team. Go ahead and use it, because we said so.
MASSIVE MUSCLES (AR)
Acts as a level 7 Strength attack. Counts as a duplicate of all "Any Hero/Character" AR Special Cards.
Image's take on "Gamma Terror." Sure, why not. It's a 7 AR, so use it even if you have a Strength team going.
NEW UNIVERSE (EN)
Play to concede battle. All Mission cards Ventured this battle return to piles Ventured from. May be Placed.Counts as a duplicate of all "Any Hero/Character" EN Specials.

SUPER SPEED (AA)
Acts as a level 4 Fighting attack. May make 1 additional attack. Counts as a duplicate of all "Any Hero/Character" AA Special Cards.
OK, this is getting ridiculous. We took care of this one up with the Parademons.
URBAN HUNTERS (BE) (H)
Any Front Line Character may make 1 attack after opponent has conceded the battle. Opponent may defend.
Your choice. It should become obvious when your opponent is gonna concede so you can prepare, and this can't be placed. We don't use it, but we don't make your decks.
WIZARD IN TOP HAT & TAILS (BQ)
Exchange this card for any 1 card in Dead Pile. Counts as Duplicate of all "Any Hero/Character" BQ Specials.
The Wonderful Zatanna! Not as cool as the Web-Slinger, but just as effective. If you're using Any Heroes, you're using this special. 'Nuff said.
ALIEN SYMBIOTE (AL)
Symbiotic bonding! Remove 1 hit from the Permanent Record of any hero.
If you like removing hits, use it. That is, if you have the Hillshire Farms set. It's not an OPD either, so pack in all ya want. By the way, the card features a symbiote. We don't think it's Hybrid, Scream, The Madness, Lasher, or Riot, but if anyone can say different, let us know. We think it's just some symbiote from that Planet of the Symbiotes storyline.
ALIEN SYMBIOTE (AL)
Symbiotic Bonding! Remove 1 hit from the Permanent Record of any hero.
Hey, we just did this one! This symbiote is named "She-Venom."

The God of Mischief himself. Thor's evil step-brother doesn't do jack in OverPower. Get him for your collection and that's it.

A different Any Hero! 'Bout time. Leech be very dangerous. Use Leech and watch opponents cry. Unless they use Bastion and negate. Then watch you cry.

Final Analysis
Hey, they're Any Heroes (Any Characters if ya like), so they get used a lot. We haven't seen anyone else do a review, so this may be the only place to see one. Hope you've enjoyed it, even though you had to read through four different AA cards. Nobody should have to witness that.
