The cute, lizardlike Charmander
is one of the Pokemon that Professor Oak often offers to trainers. It has more attack
power than Bulbasaur or Squirtle. And once it has lots of experience, it becomes almost
impossible to beat - even against Water Pokemon.
Charmander has a flame on the tip of its tail and is hard to train even for skilled
trainers. When it rains, steam spurts from Charmander's tail. If the flame ever goes out
completely, Charmander might never be able to battle again.
