Like most Grass Pokemon, Gloom can't move very well. But it doesn't have to move with attacks like Poison Powder and Stun Spore. The liquid that oozes out of its mouth isn't drool. It's a nectar that Gloom uses to get the enemy to come closer. When Gloom feels as if it's in danger, it starts to smell - bad.
