Tentacruel's nickname is "the gangster of the sea". That may have something to do with the dozen or so new stingertipped tentacles it grows during evolution. Its sting is vicious! It likes to keep its tentacles short, except when hunting. Then the tentacles extend to trap and stun unsuspecting prey.
