Kermit: Can you sing the alphabet?

Joey: Yes, yes, I could.

Kermit: Let’s hear you sing the alphabet.

Joey: (letters appear above them as she sings the alphabet)

A, B, C, D, E, F, G ... Cookie Monster!

(Cookie Monster picture appears above them, she laughs)

Kermit: (not amused) You’re not singing the alphabet!

(Kermit and Joey start singing the alphabet together)

Kermit & Joey:
A, B, C, D, E, F, G
H, I, J, K
L, M, N, O, P
Q, R ...

Joey: Cookie Monster! (laughs again)

Kermit: Cookie Monster isn’t a letter of the alphabet. It goes ...

(They continue singing the alphabet)

Kermit & Joey:

T, U, V ...

Joey: T, U, Cookie Monster! (laughs again)

Kermit: I think, I think you’re just teasing me.

(They still didn’t finish the alphabet yet)

Kermit & Joey:

Now I know my ABC’s …

Joey: Next time Cookie Monster! (laughs again)

Kermit: Next time Cookie Monster can do it with you. I’m leaving. Whew! (Walks off)

Joey: (Hopefully) I love you.

Kermit: (Walking back) I love you, too.

Joey: Oh! Thanks! (kisses Kermit’s head)
