1 small onion, chopped
1 large clove garlic, minced
2-3 T each butter and flour (equal amts)
1 8oz bottle Clam Juice
1 6-8oz can whole baby clams
1 plum tomato chopped
salt,pepper and parsley
white wine splash
--note: 1/4 c marinara sauce added to
make red clam sauce.

Saute onions and garlic in butter. Add flour to make a roux.
Add clam juice and clam liquor.
White wine splash to desired consistency
Add salt and pepper and clams.
---note: Fresh shucked clams are
always welcomed in this receipe
rinsed well and simmered in sauce.
Serve over pasta and garnish with chopped tomatoes and parsley.
