BRAY: Well, I should have handed over the Guardian right from the beginning and you never would have had to go through all this.

BRAY: Do you really think so? I mean, even after all you and Trudy have been through?
AMBER: Yes! We havent got much to show for it though.

BRAY: I know things didnt turn out exactly how we wanted them to, but theyre better than they were. I mean, were together. Theres no Chosen. The Citys free. I mean, we can almost live normal lives again.
AMBER: Free! Are we?

TAI-SAN: Well it was her victory party after all, you would have thought she would have stayed until the end, like certain other people. And why did she suddenly move to the Hotel?
LEX: Why not? It used to be her hangout, when she was with the Locos.
TAI-SAN: And look at how she behaved then!
LEX: Oh come on! Give her a break!
TAI-SAN: How can I? This whole thing, it just! It just feels so wrong!

MAY: Argh! I was bringing you breakfast in bed.
PRIDE: Sorry, I didnt realise.
MAY: Thats okay, youll just have to get undressed again. Need some assisting?

MAY: Hey! I thought it was us girls that were supposed to play hard to get.
PRIDE: No I mean it. I have to get to the Hotel to work with Lex.
MAY: But why? I thought that was just until you rescued the girls?
PRIDE: Listen May, if Im going to be hanging around, I have to do something. God knows theres plenty to do around here!

CLOE: They made me work in the mines. Every day I thought they were going to come and waste me, they were always threatening to. And then one morning the guards were all talking to each other and they panicked, and the next thing they were gone!
JACK: And then what?
CLOE: Well I was the only one who wanted to go back to the city, so I started walking, and here I am!
JACK: Well its great to see you again.
CLOE: So what about you? Are you on your way back to the Mall too?
JACK: Argh, no. Ive already been back, I left again. Ellie dumped me.
CLOE: You left because you got dumped?
JACK: Well it was the way she did it, I mean she was having this thing with Luke.
CLOE: Luke?
JACK: Yeah, behind my back, pretending everything was okay, making me look really stupid, and
CLOE: So what have you been doing?
JACK: You know, stuff. Wandering around, fixing stuff for people. Nothing really.
CLOE: All on your own?
JACK: Yeah, all on my own.
CLOE: But the Mall was your home!
JACK: Yeah and they ruined it for me. I mean, nobody even raised a finger to stop them! Or even to tell me, so give me one good reason why I should go back there!
CLOE: Im sorry Jack, I didnt mean to upset you. Have you got any food? Im starving!
JACK: Well I did have but it kind of got away, Im not too good at holding on too things I guess.

EBONY: Its okay! Let him through!
LEX: Whats up with all the muscle? Im supposed to be in charge of that!
EBONY: Just a few people I signed up for here. But its no problem. This is for you. Just a little signing up bonus. I want you to know Im really grateful you staying on.
LEX: You know I think were going to make a really good team.

GUARDS: Hey hold it buster. You cant come in here!

PRIDE: Well I thought about your offer and Im happy to continue as Lexs deputy.
EBONY: Great! So our top priority then, find the Guardian before he wastes any more of our good citizens.

EBONY: Youre not to put yourselves or any of the other people at risk, do you understand?
LEX: Will you be happy if we waste him.

ALICE: Hell like these much more than putting them in a vase.
ELLIE: Yeah.
ALICE: Im going to plant an orchard for us. So we can sit outside and watch birds build their nests.
ELLIE: Thats nice.
ALICE: We can put hammocks between the trees and sleep outside in the summer.
ELLIE: Alice dont do this to yourself.
ALICE: And then when were hungry all we have to do is reach up and pick something.
ELLIE: Alice hes dead, hes not coming back!
ALICE: I thought everything was going to be all right! I wanted that so much!

KC: This, is where the Guardian stood! Still with the blood on his hands from his last victim. And this is where Trudy and Amber were chained to the wall, blind folded, but still they could hear him, smell him, as he got closer with the stench of human flesh on his breath and just as they thought that they were going to die-!
LEX: Okay everybody youre under arrest! This is an illegal gathering; all your takings are confiscated!
KC: Who says its illegal?
LEX: I do! You make me sick! All of you! Youre going to be put on trial tomorrow!
CROWD: No! Oh God! Hey!
LEX: Quiet! Or you can pay a stand up fine now!
KC: But it wasnt their fault!
LEX: Shut up Kc! Whats up with you?
PRIDE: Can you imagine what it was like? Trapped in here all that time!
LEX: Yeah, terrible!

BRAY: Well we were going to talk about organising the city.

EBONY: Bray Im sorry, its just that everythings been happening so fast and, I thought youd approve.
BRAY: Have you appointed anyone else?
EBONY: Well Luke, hes staying on to look after finances. Do you have a problem with that too?
BRAY: We have to think of the public Ebony, how many people out there are going to trust him in that position?
EBONY: But hes trying so hard to put his past behind him.
BRAY: Its too much power too soon. Ill keep an eye on him, see how things go.
