There are 119 different merit badges. Our troop counselors cover the 61 merit badges shown on this web page. Other merit badges are available from counselors outside of our troop if you are interested in any that you do not find listed here.

The first step to earning a merit badge is to talk to your Scoutmaster. He will inform you who the merit counselor is for any badge that you are interested in.

NOTES FOUND WITH A MERIT BADGE'S NAME:

• (NOTE 1) - This is a Required Eagle Scout merit badge.
• (NOTE 2) - Eagle option, choose one of these merit badges: Emergency Preparedness OR Lifesaving
• (NOTE 3) - Eagle option, choose one of these merit badges: Cycling OR Hiking OR Swimming
• (NOTE 4) - Music and Bugling are two seperate merit badges that are covered in only one merit badge pamphlet called "Music and Bugling"
• The "ID" is the Official BSA Merit Badge Numbers that are used on our troop advancement tracking chart.
• The "Pamphlet" number is the Official BSA Catalog Item Numbers that you use to order the particular merit badge pamphlet from a Scout Shop or BSA's Supply Division. The pamphlets cover all the material you need to know to pass the merit badge's requirements.
