He signs autographs for his fans
Reforma (13/03/2000).-Neither the rain nor the cold of yesterday's afternoon in Mexico City could stop the hundreds of fans of turkish singer, Tarkan, who went to Mixup Zona Rosa music store, to get a kiss and an autograph of their favorite artist. As part of his promotional tour Dressed in a long-sleeved yellow t-shirt and jeans, the famous singer could see the affection that he has obtained from the public in just a short time, specially from teenagers. Those teenage girls, showing off their emotions, cried and singed before the arrival of Tarkan. Beginning at noon, lots of people arrived and stayed outside Mixup, and by 4:00 p.m., the time when Tarkan began signing autographs, there were more than 300 persons waiting to get in. The line was so long that it ended a couple of blocks away.
"I can´t believe it, he is so hot, I'm crazy about him, I love his music, and he even gave me a kiss", said some girl who began crying when she got there. "I know him before he was famous in Mexico, I have his previous albums and I keep any article about him published in european newspapers and magazines," said another fan, who brought with her an album full of memorabilia, including photos downloaded from the Internet, magazine and newspaper clips, etc. Something curious happened in the store: many teenagers, waiting to be with Tarkan, also took pictures of his brother, since the physical resemblance between both is remarkable. Some fans even said he was even more handsome than his famous brother.
Before leaving, Tarkan, the store staff and owners, celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Mixup music stores, with a Pokemon cake. You can see here he's blowing the candles. Next to him is a lucky girl, smiling (who wouldn't?) But this is definitely not his best photo! And why he dyed his hair brown??? Oh, how I loved his black hair!!! Anyway, it's his decision.

could enter the place, to have a picture with their idol.
Inside the store, the girls
giggled nervously, and some even cried, when they were in front
of Tarkan, which gave them either an autographed poster or CD
cover.
Everything ended at 5:00 p.m.,
because the artist had to leave to carry out other scheduled
activities, so a lot of fans left without an autograph or a photo
of their beloved idol.
