Tarkan chats with his fans   On June 22, in the afternoon, Tarkan had a chat with his fans in Starmedia.com. A lot of people logged in early, to be able to talk to their idol. People could ask him questions, which were translated by the moderator into English, and everyone could see and listen to Tarkan, live. Too bad I couldn't be there, but Adriana, from México, told me how it was. Tarkan was thirty minutes late. He was wearing a sleeveless shirt (see the photo). He was smiling and very happy with his public. People made different questions: when would he return to Latin America, if he was single, etc. Nevertheless, a lot of people asked him if he was gay or not (there is a lot of gossip about that, but maybe it's something his enemies invented to harm him). When they asked him: "Which are your sexual preferences?", he said: "What? WHAT?????" They asked him again and he said again: "What? What are they asking me???" Then the moderator asked him if he was gay. He denied it categorically: "NO!!! I'm heterosexual!" He said that homosexuality exists in his country, that he is not against that, but that he is not gay. He didn't got angry, but surprised to learn that we latinos thought that about him. All the girls that have a crush on Tarkan were relieved to hear from his lips that of course, he is straight! But many people in the chat room insisted on that subject, but he didn't talked about the issue again. He also sang Simarik a capella. And he mentioned he may record an album in Spanish, in the future. He said he has his own official web site (Ben Ve Tarkan, check my link list for the address). There were some problems with the chat, because it was saturated by users, communication was difficult sometimes. The whole interview lasted for about 40 minutes.
