Release - Come Closer
April 2006 - Universal Music México -Next April 10, 2006, Tarkan will release his firs English album. The album is called Come Closer.
"I think my music achieved to connect 2 worlds - the arabic and the western worlds - for this reason I named the album Come Closer. I think cultural exchanges can be used to enrich humans and make us realize how we are all connected. Also, music is one of the best ways to understand others, to have no borders". "The challenge of Come Closer is to reach a new audience, because I'm combining turkish rythms with up-to-date ones; it's something very different to the music Americans are used to". "I'm sure that in Latin America, Come Closer will be a success; our roots, music, even dance moves are similar. For this reason I'm sure that Mexico will love my new album".
