AGENCIA REFORMA - MÉXICO, DF - He conquered his fans with his turkish melodies, but this time Tarkan will try to expand his audience. The singer is back with his first English album called "Come Closer".

During the interview, Tarkan said he is very excited about this production. However, he stated that despite this experience he won't stop singing in his native language because it represents the essence of his music.

The singer of "Simark" (The Kiss) pointed out that creating this album was an odyssey, because he had to improve his English and learn a new way of producing before entering the recording studios. "It was kind of complicated, but very nice at the same time, I had a lot of fun, I met great album producers and people who really know this business", he said.

"Come closer" is influenced by multiple rythms, the result of the journeys he has made during his lifetime. "I'm a very open person, I like to travel, meet people from every corner of the world, I enjoy a lot being in cities that offer something to learn and all this I can reflect in each song", Tarkan said.

The first single relased to the international audience is "Bounce", which he describes as magical. "It has a very special sound mix, up-to-date sounds with those tied to my roots, it's very danceable because when you listen to the song, it makes you move".
