Tarkan's Accident
Tarkan had an accident a few months ago, around September 2000, while he was in France. It seems to be nobody knows exactly what happened to him. Here in Latin America we learned the sad news through Tarkan fan clubs, which might have been informed by Universal Music. The accident happened in Paris. Tarkan was riding his bike, suddenly, a car hit him, dragging him about 100m. (This is the news we received here in Latin America. Another version says he was riding his bike down a slope, a car appeared in front of him, so he tried to stop to avoid hitting it, but he lost his balance, fell and was dragged 100m). Tarkan suffered several injuries, mainly in his head (8 stitches), shoulders, hips and back. He had to stay in the hospital for 8 days, then he was released. We learned about his accident in November 2000, although it could have happened during or around September. Tarkan has recovered from this accident, now he's OK. (Thank God he's fine now! We were very worried when we learned about this. I think he was very lucky this time...this could have been worse. Wasn't he wearing a helmet?)
