In this
interview, the aim is to see at which percent the male stars of
the moment could be guys for us the girls. With 26, black hair
and wonderful green eyes, living in New York, talented and
famous, Tarkan is a good candidate...
-Now, spontaneously, at which
percentage do you consider you as an ideal guy?
-Me?
At 100 %! I'm the perfect boyfriend.
-Let's
see...Are you faithful?
-Yes,
usually...Well, it depends on the relation with the girl. If I'm
really in love, I don't cheat, and anyway, if it doesn't work, I
would rather break out.
-How
many times were you really in love?
-Only
one or two times.
-Have
you a girlfriend right now?
-There's
someone in my life, but she lives in Europe and I live in the
USA, so we're together intermittently. It's a great relationship,
but not very serious.
-Do
you often offer presents to your girlfriend?
-I
don't like giving very expensive jewels to impress. I prefer more
original and unique gifts. As to take her to holidays all of a
sudden. I also adore offering flowers even if it's classic.
-Do
you impose your girlfriend moments of solitude, due to your
music?
-We
must be free in a relationship. If I feel the need to be quiet to
compose, I just tell her. She has to be patient and to
understand.
-Are
you jealous?
-We
are all, the fact is to control oneself. We have to wonder why we
are like that, and then we notice it's a gap of trust in oneself,
and then we get better and all is alright.
-Can
you cook?
-Yeah,
I'm good in italian, turkish and french cook. It's a gift!
-Do
you also wash the dishes after?
-[Laughs]
I do it, but not willingly, I don't like that!
-Is
all tidied at your home?
-It's
the shambles, there are clothes everywhere. I believe it's
because I live alone...
-Must
a girl be sexy to please you?
-What's
important, is that she's got something, she must be charismatic.
She must also be natural or totally mad but not between the both.
-And
the girlfriend's family, do you accept them easily?
-In a
relationship, when the family interfere, it's always a problem. I
have well experienced all that!
-Do you remember all the birthdays'
dates?
-Not
at all! Besides, I don't like celebrating people for an occasion,
I hate all what is conventional.
-To
you, a life shared between two, it's the happiness or the
nightmare?
-It's
sure a shared life is the most difficult thing, but I think when
it's shared with a good person, we can be happy all the same.
-What's
your worst fault?
-I
mull all the time about the same things in my head. Sometimes, it
even prevents me from sleeping. It's not really pleasant for my
entourage.
-What's,
for you, the most horrible in a woman?
-Hairy
armpits! I hate that, it's totally antiseduction.
-What
would you do for love?
-Being
on my knees, crying and begging. But it doesn't always work. I
have already done it and the girl told me no!
-If
you girlfriend were ill, would you care about her or would you go
out with your friends?
-If
she pretends to be ill and she takes advantage, no. But if she's
got really the flu and that she's in bed, I adore cooking very
warm soups, teas and to tuck her in.
-Well,
now let's talk about money: do you have a lot?
-I
could get a lot, but I refuse. In Turkey, I could take part at
very well payed emissions but I don't want to do that. Money must
not be an aim by itself. Anyway, I spend all the money I have.
-Now,
it's time to sum up: at which percentage do you believe to be the
ideal man?
-Before answering, I would add I love offering lingerie to my
girlfriends. With that I reach 70 % don't I?
