The Pics Issue...
During the first days of June 2001, some pics that had been previously stolen from Tarkan were shown on turkish television and press. These pics show some men embracing Tarkan. He accepted the pics to be his, but he said it's his private life and he doesn't have to explain it to anyone, only to God. This problem with the pics started again the issue of Tarkan's sexual preferences. It is really upsetting to see that people only care to know intimate aspects of an artist's life. It is not important. The essential is the talent, the music. Nobody has the right to judge Tarkan. It's his life and we must respect whatever way he chooses to live it. If he wants to talk about his sexual preferences or not, it's his business, not ours. The most important thing about Tarkan is his music. This is the reason we like him. This is the reason we started buying his albums, listening to his songs, watching his videos. His music will always be wonderful, regardless of his sexual preferences. So if you're his real fans, I ask you to please keep supporting Tarkan. He needs us, specially now that there are many people against him, evil people who want to harm him and his soon-to-be-released album. Tarkan needs the love and support of his fans.
