Tarkan to be in Istanbul in February!

Thanks to Ali for translating this for us. *** Milliyet (January 31, 2001) - For almost a year we've been hearing that Tarkan's new album is to be released! Finally, we have a date for it: Tarkan will release the first single at the end of February. And the complete album, whose production is never-ending, will be released in April.
On this album there are no songs from the woman that helped him with many succesfull world quality songs, also known as "his queen", Sezen Aksu! In this album Tarkan has worked with a suprise guest because he prefers so in his albums! Mazhar Alanson, who has never given any songs away to any band other than MFÖ has changed things for Tarkan! And with a romantic song! Also, more news: the recordings that Tarkan did with Istanbul's huge sensation Zerin Özer has been canceled. That is, the duet he did with Zerin Özer will not appear on the album (in fact it was a just a backing vocal)! Another interesting fact about the new album is that just the remixing of the album has amounted to US$60,000. This amount of money would usually produce 2 albums in Turkey!!!
