Tarkan signed with Pepsi!
Tarkan will appear in two television ads. In the first one Tarkan is having his future told by an old gypsy woman. The second one is an ad for a sweepstakes in Turkey, where you could win and meet Tarkan if you collected the Pepsi caps. When asked about his new song and album, Tarkan replied that the conference was only for Pepsi, but that he would tell about it very soon. The press followed him everywhere. So then Tarkan asked the press to leave him alone so he could enjoy the party.

Tarkan gave a press conference on March 23, 2001 at the Hilton Convention Center in Istanbul, to inform the media that Pepsi, the soft-drink company, will be sponsoring him. Tarkan will be Pepsi's image for Turkey, and the details for the advertising campaign were revealed there.
