A dancing surprise

Thanks a lot to my friend Erol for translating this article, which appeared on turkish newspaper Milliyet on April 9, 2003.

Currently living in the United States, Tarkan came to Turkey for vacation. He left New York City, where he lives, to return to his home country. He arrived in Istanbul via THY (Turkish Airlines). Tarkan answered the questions reporters asked him at the airport.

"I came to Turkey with many suprises. People need to cheer up. I love to make people dance. A great dancing song is comming up!"

Tarkan announced to the media that his new album will be on the market in 2 months (June 2003).

Journalists also asked him his opinion about the war in Irak. He said he doesn't support either war or terrorism, because it makes people suffer a lot. He said he can't stand children dying.

These are the pics of Tarkan arriving at the airport. Many people asked him for autographs and pics, including kids.
