Turkey culture's festival in Russia

A real upheaval, splendid and grandiose "Turkish invasion" is expected in Moscow! The country of the star and the half moon will present various sides of its modern art and ancient culture, charming sights of an incredible beauty, the show of the world level, remarcable performers who will, no doubt, surprise, strike and make delighted! From May 21 to June 4 Turkey culture's festival will be held in Moscow. Turkey is a bridge between the East and the West, between Islam and Christianity. Its culture, the brightest one in Asia Minor, - the result of pooling the heritage of the greatest civilizations: Hittite, Greek, Roman, Arab and Turkic. That is why Turkish culture is so unique. The festival will present the most interesting, talented and extra-ordinary that Turkish culture includes. The festival program consists of over 10 events which will be held on the main stages and concert grounds of Moscow including the most popular dance show, classic and cabaret music, opera singers and folklore collectives, the dramatic theatre’s tour, exhibitions of modern paintings, arts and crafts, photography. You will have a chance to see the legendary show "The sultans of dance" now called as "The Fire of Anatolia". It is a unique dance show, a mystic performance of rotating dervishes, and performances of the oldest exotic Shade Theatre "Karagez". No one will be indifferent to the Turkish interpretation of Russian classic, Gorky’s play "Na Dne" in the performance of the Turkish State Drama Theatre’s actors. The remarkable event of the festival will become Tarkan’s performance. His only concert will take place in the "Luzhniki" Sport Palace on June 2.
