Goodman's Mouse Lemur (Microcebus lehilahytsara )

MORPHOLOGY:
The dense and short pelage is bright maroon having an orange tinge on the back, head, and tail (Kappeler et al., 2005). The ventral side is creamy-white (Kappeler et al., 2005). A distinct white stripe extends from the upper end of the rhinarium to the lower forehead (Kappeler et al., 2005). The ears of this species are short and round (Kappeler et al., 2005). The tail is uniformly colored, and is used by Goodman's mouse lemur for storing fat (Kappeler et al., 2005). The scrotum is covered in fur and the testes relatively large (Kappeler et al., 2005).

RANGE:
Goodman's mouse lemur is found in Madagascar in Andasibe and the Parc National de Mantadia (Kappeler et al., 2005).

ECOLOGY:
Goodman's mouse lemur is nocturnal and arboreal.
