CommentsThis vehicle is now at it's new home in Collinsville Okla. after being driven here from San Jose CA. Mike you were right, it was just a bit noisy. It was a fabulous trip. One that I will not forget. Approx 1650 mi. at about 50 mph will be remembered for a long time.
Commentsthis is a really cool site . . . i hope you can keep it up and maintained. looks like u put a lot of work in this project. it is a really fine mogg. do i understand from the notes that you have sold it and it is already "gone"? what a shame! i have discovered the mogg and the pinz from looking into purchasing a 4WD vehicle by looking on the net. since my discovery, i have driven a few moggs and a few pinzgauers and am thrilled at the prospect of ownership. do u have any regrets with having owned the mogg? must have been a real expensive undertaking. would u do it again? have you recorded your steps and process, maybe with supporting photographs and personal notes? would u consider publishing them if it could be profitable to do so? still searching for the perfect machine to purchase. do u think it is wise or unwise to purchase from an overseas distributor? do u think you can be assured of a quility machine sight-unseen? sounds kind of risky to me but i want a good price. do u know about the haflinger? have you ever seen or driven one? enjoyed all the work you put into your rebuild and your webb site. it is a really terrific page. hoping to get one up myself as soon as i can get my images to upload. already have a domain registered -- KingCreative™ -- but it is not on line yet. here's to more happy four wheel projects! CommentsHi! My name is George Reddick, I am in the market for a 404 at this time. I cannot pretend that yours is in my price range though. It truly is beautiful and you have done a nice job with your web page too! If you get the chance could you let me know what the going price for something like this is? Thanks for your time geo

CommentsI have owned my own Unimog for over 2 years. You are correct when you describe the vehicle. Where did you find replacement side windows or did you have them made. I have had difficulty finding someone capable of duplicating what I have now. Let me know if you can help me out on this. C.R. Winchester, VA
CommentsSite is great. Do you have any information about 4 door "command" Mogs
CommentsNice vehicle you have got there. I am currently the proud owner of nothing less than two Unimog 404, both ambulances. They origin from the German army, but was later sold to Denmark (that where I live), and they were both sold at auktion. In europe older Mogs arent that expensive, but they are still quite rare especially here in Denmark. i like what you did to your vehicle, and it does set new standards of what a restoed unimog must look like. CommentsLike the website, although I'm mogless, I do enjoy browsing the mogsites, someday I'd like to own one. I'm interested in the truck bed. Did you happen to take down interior truck measurements/dimensions, and did you occupy the original spare tire space, if so, do you recommend this over the factory layout, and if you could do it over again is there away you could fabricate the spare tire to attach to the tailgate/ bumper? Was the truck bed the easiest/less expensive restoration part of the project , and/or was the attaching of the bed complicated(meaning did you have to custom mount vs. attach to original mounts? One more thing of interest to the painting of the drivetrain, could/would you be able to sandblast and paint the components on the truck without removing them entirely. I've seen some nice mogs painted and I assume it can be done with the drive train intact. Thank you, your mog is somewhat like how I would want mine to look like, someday that is, Mark.
