Wedding Dreams

Today my little girl becames a wife
Starting a different kind of life.
She has grown into a woman right before my eyes
Making me aware of how time really flies.

She will have her husband by her side
For today, my daughter is a bride.
My little girl, she no longer is
This is the day that she becomes his.

But to me, she'll always be my little girl
In her pretty, pink ribbons and tight, yellow curls.
As I gaze upon her, my eyes start to gleam
For today is the beginning of her wedding dreams.
