Three scouts are now missing, as the Black Moon's saucer disappears. Artemis is unable to track it, since it appears and vanishes too quickly. As Luna and Tuxedo Mask approach the remaining Sailor Team, he notices a hole in the ground. In the center, one of Prizma's earrings of Black Poison Crystal is smoldering. Artemis instructs Luna to take it as a sample and sends a reinforced container for it.

Back in the control room, Artemis reports there have been over 200 UFO sightings in Tokyo during the past month. He has determined they are the same saucers that kidnapped Mars, Mercury, and Jupiter, with the "mystery circles" being their landing sites.

The Enemy is pretending to be human!

Mina asks if Black Moon is alien, and Artemis agrees that they may be. Mina speculates that as aliens, Black Moon may be trying to kill humans because they are in the way if they want Earth. Darien comments the kidnapped scouts are alive, since Black Moon could have killed everybody on the spot. Bunny wonders if they are waiting to capture the Silver Imperium Crystal and Rini. Mina decides they cannot let the enemy have the advantage any more. They must make Rini talk, tell them about the Black Moon and decide if she is a friend or foe.

Meanwhile, the cats study the sample of Poison Crystal. The readings it emits gets more and more negative.

Darien, Mina and Luna walk Bunny home. They are greeted by a happy Rini, who is having her friend Momo over to visit. Darien bends down and asks Luna for the earring sample. Rini looks up and notices it in Darien's hand. She starts screaming "Noooo! Stay away!" scared of the Poison Crystal.

On the Dark Moon, the Sailor Scouts are enclosed within crystalline pillars on the surface of the moon. Inside the halls, Sapphire comments to Emerald and Rubeus that they should kill the scouts immediately. Rubeus and Emerald do not appear to be worried about the extra losses, saying they have the Black Poison Crystal, and every plan has some problems. Rubeus explains their planet of darkness, the Black Moon, Nemesis created the Black Poison Crystal, an evil power that can rival that of the Silver Imperium Crystal. Sapphire is still concerned, saying they need not endanger themselves to capture the Crystal, remembering the destruction caused by the Poison Crystal, the same explosion from Rini's memory. Sapphire tells Diamond that "That dead planet is already yours" but Diamond disagrees, saying he needs to see the dead body's of that planet's rulers first. Wiseman appears, telling all that as long as the Silver Imperium Crystal exists, the Black Poison Crystal is not unconquerable. He tells them to show the power of the Poison Crystal, destroying the Silver Crystal with it. Wiseman and the Prince leave. Rubeus is suspicious of Wiseman, the creature that just appeared and won over the Prince so easily with his "fake fortune telling," and giving Diamond his third, evil eye. Rubeus is determined to expose Wiseman one day.

Avery, the last remaining of the Sisters of Deception uses her power "as a medium" to contact her sisters through some drones. Rubeus enters and instructs her to use Code 004: Operation Rebirth. With the Sailor Scouts separated, he feels they are now powerless to stop Black Moon.

Rini is held in Darien's arms while she cries. Mina and Bunny try to question her about the Poison Crystal and Black Moon, but she breaks off when saying "ItŐs that stone's faultÉ" and only insists she knows nothing. Bunny asks one last question about her loyalty, and Rini swears she is not the enemy. Bunny looks at her sadly, saying "But if you're not going to help usÉI don't thinkÉWe'll be able to be friends."

In school, Bunny mopes around, sad over the loss of her close friends. Molly knows her friend is troubled, so she gives Bunny a hug and tells her they can watch a tape together. Molly had Melvin get the video on channeling that has become so popular in Tokyo recently. Melvin explains that channeling is when a medium receives a message from someone from another place, such as the past or outer space.

The tape begins. Miss Avery, a world-famous channeler, begins receiving a message from Rubeus of Black Moon. He claims they are not the enemy, sent to lead humans "on the right path." Bunny goes pale at the words, knowing they are lies and runs out. Molly looks sadly back as her friend leaves. She knows something is different about Bunny, but is not sure what to do for her friend.

Channelling has become very popular in Tokyo. Miss Avery is on a talk show, telling everyone they must rely upon their own strength, not accepting the rule of another for Earth. She then reveals that Black Moon has told her through channeling that the people of the White Moon bring destruction. Artemis and Mina hear this, wondering if she is brainwashing the people since Black Moon is trying to invade Earth. Avery then announces a public channeling session during the next week. Artemis feels it may be a trap, but Mina is prepared to take them up on their challenge.

After watching the television, Darien takes out the stones of his four warriors. Kunzite, Jadeite, Nephrite and Zoisite come forth. Kunzite tells his master there are ripple of time and space around the Poison Crystal. The warriors sense danger, telling Darien they will back his power with their own to protect the Princess. He does not sense his own power, feeling useless to protect Bunny, unsure why he was reborn. But, the warriors instruct him to "take the path to become King" telling him to be strong and dependable for the Princess.

As Bunny sleeps, Rini creeps into the room. Bunny hears a noise and looks up, finding her transformation brooch missing from her dress.

At the channeling session, Avery tells of Earth entering the Age of Aquarius, a time of reform. Mina contacts Bunny, wondering where she is. Bunny tells her she has to track down Rini, certain the little girl has her brooch. Avery once again channels Rubeus, who tells the people of Tokyo that the White Moon brings disaster with the Silver Imperium Crystal.

Sailor Venus appears before the crowd, telling them what they are hearing is lies. Avery smiles and uses Molly, Andy and Kotono to channel the three missing scouts. They appear to be in great pain and Venus calls out to them. Then, the channeled scouts change to the dead of the Sisters of Deception. Avery calls out, "This is the Four Sisters of Deception's Spirit Energy Attack!" It hits Venus and begins pulling her apart, but she angrily insists it is still the Age of Pisces, a time of love, and "As the goddess of love, Venus, I won't lose to you!"

Bunny catches up with Rini as she stands in the park, holding her key above her head. Bunny runs up to her to take back her brooch, but Rubeus enters and attacks. They manage to jump away, but have nowhere to go. Darien senses Bunny is in danger and as Tuxedo Mask jumps in front of her and Rini before Rubeus' next attack. Using his cane, Tuxedo Mask cuts Rubeus' face, which sends him into an angry fit. He angrily turns around, telling them he will show the "power of fire."

Tuxedo Mask hears a familiar voice telling him to use his power. He feels it gathering in his hands, and attacks with "Tuxedo the SmokingÉBomber!!" It manages to stop Rubeus' attack, giving Bunny time to transform into Sailor Moon. She runs to the channeling session, unleashing her "Moon Sceptre Helation!!" which kills Avery before she can capture Venus.

Rini and Tuxedo Mask come up from behind and Sailor Moon asks Rini why she took her Crystal. Rini finally confesses she knows having the Silver Imperium Crystal of the past and future together is dangerous, and she was told not to, but she did so anyway, thinking both would be enough power to save them. Sailor Moon is shocked as Rini cries out for help, "Save the Thirtieth CenturyÉthe Earth of the Future!!"
