Sailor Moon and the others are estonished to see a man who looks like Tuxedo Mask. Rini runs up to him, calling "Papa", but her hands slip through him. The man turns towards the group and welcomes them to the thirtieth century. He explains his body is in a coma and is appearing as the spirit of King Endymion, the future self of Tuxedo Mask. He explains Rini, Serenity, is their future daughter, since Neo-Queen Serenity is the future self of Sailor Moon.

Neo-Queen Serenity is currently encased in crystal in the palace. It all happened when she left the palace one day just as the enemy launched an attack. She became encased, while the others fell, except Rini. Due to stories told to her of the "Legendary Invincible Scout, Sailor Moon", the little girl journeyed back to the past to find help.

Diana introduces herself as the daughter of Luna and Artemis. Then, the King explains those of the Silver Millennium have a lifetime of a thousand years due to the power of the Silver Imperium Crystal. Once reaching maturity, those influenced by the Crystal stop aging. The power extended to all those of Crystal Tokyo and most of the Earth, causing a generation of ageless people to live in peace for centuries until the attack.

The King brings them to a control room, where he shows them Nemesis, the tenth planet. It became a forbidden planet centuries past when a criminal was sent there. It is on that planet that the Black Moon rebels operate. Those of the Black Moon reject the long lives of the Silver Millinieum and start battles and fights.

Sailor Moon begins to wobble and fade, due to existing in two times at once. They head back to the gates of time, bringing Rini along, with Darien promising to protect her. The King explains Pluto guards the gate of time, the heir of Chronos. She gives Sailor Moon a time key and the group travels back to the twentieth century.
