Prince Diamonds hands come together, the Silver Imperium Crystals almost touching. Pluto looks on in horror, crying out "No! Stop!" and the world freezes around her, time coming to a halt. The third taboo was stopping time.

Everyone cringes, but then slowly look up when nothing happens. The King and the scouts move, powered by the Garnet Scepter. Tuxedo Mask wakes up, no longer brainwashed by the Black Poison Crystal, and Black Lady falls.

Sailor Pluto gasps, and then falls as well. She instructs Bunny to take both Crystals from Diamond, which she does. Pluto looks up, turning towards Bunny, and explains she always wanted to help Sailor Moon fight, the future Neo-Queen Serenity, whom she has always looked up to. Pluto asks her to save Small Lady, and says good-bye, holding out a key to Black Lady. It clatters to the floor.

Black Lady remembers it- the key she stole from Pluto. Her only friend, who loved her like a mother. A tear runs down her cheek, trailing past the Black Poison Crystal earring as it shatters. It wells at the bottom of her cheek, and Rini holds a glowing Silver Imperium Crystal.

Time starts again, and a light glows throughout the palace. Rini transforms as Neo-Queen Serenity's eyes open. The birth of a new scout.

Wiseman looms above, Bunny clenches the Crystal and transforms. Sailor Moon faces him off, and Diamond comes up to attack. Tuxedo Mask jumps in with the scepter, and the couple hold it, Diamond falling, killed by their power.

Time begins to warp even more as Wiseman presents his true form, the Death Phantom.

The death phantom looms before the scouts, with seemingly endless power. However, Sailor Moon boldly stands up and attacks with her moon rod. In a great flash of light and a swirl in the sky, she and the planet Nemesis itself, disappear. The scouts all worry she was destroyed with the planet, and Tuxedo Mask is greatly moved as well. As he clenches his fists, he begins to fade away.

In the palace, Neo-Queen Serenity opens her eyes and emerges from the protective covering of the crystal. She awakens the body of her husband, and the couple go to the scouts just outside. The queen warmly, and happily, embraces her daughter. Small Lady apologizes for everything she perceives happened as her own fault, but her mother reassures her it was not. Neo-Queen Serenity then tells her daughter that she loves and needs her, the heir to the Silver Millenium, even though Rini had always thought otherwise. She then asks Rini to help Sailor Moon, who is on the real Nemesis (the planet near Earth being a projection through space of the actual planet). She gives her daughter her shortened scepter, and Rini travels using a time key

Bunny wakes up surrounded by the stillness of Nemesis as Darien holds her in his arms. The Death Phantom looms before the couple, explaining he can conquer all now with the power of the Silver Crystal. Sailor Moon cringes, holding onto Tuxedo Mask. He assures her of herself, and lends her his power. They embrace, the "power of two as one."

Rini enters just in front of Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask, explaining she will fight with Sailor Moon. They combine their powers in an attack against the planet, a double Moon Princess Halation, which shatters Nemesis, as well as Sailor Moon's brooch and scepter.

Back in Crystal Tokyo, Neo-Queen Serenity restores the city. Then she turns to the scouts and gives them new powers, the planet powers. From where she is, the queen gives Sailor Moon her new power as well, a new brooch and "Cosmic Power." She returns to the Crystal Palace so as not to meet with her past self.

Sailor Moon awakens in Crystal Tokyo, surrounded by the other scouts. She looks around and the others explain Neo-Queen Serenity has returned to the palace. Even though it could change history, Sailor Moon is still filled with a longing to meet her future self and glances back at the crystaline structure.

Neo-Queen Serenity looks up from where she stands in the palace, filled with a similar longing. She quickly turns around and heads outside. The bright smile on her face make it clear this is the future self of Bunny. The two stand across from each other, expressing their thanks. Just as quickly, the queen waves good-bye to the group. Everyone says their farewells.
