The focal point is Lucena City , which is served from Manila by regular BLTB (every 20 min) and Pantranco South buses; it takes 3 to 4 hours. Pantranco buses also passes from Legaspi City to Manila and vice versa. Mini buses Lucena with Daet (Camarines Norte), another 8 hrs away along rough roads; larger buses tend to be more comfortable and less bumpy. Quezon's only main highway crosses the central part of Laguna to Camarines Norte, off-roads from around Quezon are generally poor. Jeepneys and mini buses fan out from Lucena to the province's towns. Buses connect Lucena and Pagsanjan, but it's usually quicker to take jeepneys via Lucban. Jeepneys operate on the Batangas city-Tiaong and San Juan-Candelaria roads. The south bound railway from Manila roughly parallels the highway until it cuts off through Tagkawayan into Camarines Sur, Quezon's northern spur have few roads, and coastal boats operate on an irregular basis. Infanta is reached by road from Siniloan (Laguna) and Manila. Cotta, Lucena City's port, has regular boats to Marinduque and Romblon.
