To send an email (This goes to the WHOLE LIST)... natural_healing@egroups.com

You can choose to have individual emails or digest, or you can read your mail on the web.. You DON'T have to download all those messages if you don't want to! That will be great for a bunch of you.

The rules of the new public list are mostly the same as before...... just mutual respect and consideration of the golden rule...ie say unto others, as you would have them "say" unto you. Be generous and kind in your choice of words.

If you loose interest in the topic, please feel free to use your DELETE key!

Because of the size of this list, short and sweet emails are nice, but if you need time to develop your thoughts feel free. Your opinions are an important part of this forum, and necessary.

Whenever possible direct us to your homepage, or other URLs of reference. Articles with references are greatly appreciated by health professionals for follow-up.

This list will cover nearly all topics related to natural health including vibrational medicines such as homeopathy, essential oils, color, sound, and other therapies now coming to the forefront of natural healing. As we encourage all mind-body approaches to natural health issues, expect to see a smattering of religious beliefs raise their head. Don't despair, and remember that this is not a forum for conversion but of interaction and sharing of ideas.

Take what you need and leave the rest for the next guy!

What we expect to see on this list:- contributions from teachers and educators, including updates of classes or   seminars in your area.

Feel Free to talk about your professional seminars, and classes.- questions about personal health issues that can be addressed in a common forum such as this, that allows the entire cyber community to interact.- testimonials about your health successes, and failures.- sharing of uplifting poems, articles and general funny encouragement items that make us all part of the human mosaic.- legislative updates that require immediate action.- tolerance of differing views, attitudes, religions, etc.- topics of interest (known as threads) to grow and wane according to interest levels of participants.

Just because a topic is on the table, please know that the list topics are diverse, and the thread can die or grow, as it will on its own.

Cautions:- be prepared to hear from recognized leaders in their field-

Promotion of personal business is encouraged offline in personal discussions and limited to your creative and welcome SIG file!

This is a nice way of saying, Please don't Spam our list members.

DO NOT prey on our good nature and openness. If you strike up a personal interaction, then that's different. Chances are, members here already have their bag of tricks established, and they are here for more info, not new products.--

Expect to be corrected about unsafe health practices in a GENTLE and LOVING manner.

As always, any diagnosis or prescribing by persons other than licensed health professionals is prohibited. We all need to be careful in this area. There are many knowledgeable people on this list who understand a body systems approach to natural healing as taught by nationally recognized herbalist Steven Horne.

Giving information related to what herbs or oils are sympathetic to a particular body system is acceptable. Everyone already knows to use flower remedies for emotional problems, related to the head, right?? Use herbs which are high in iodine for the thyroid, right??

What do to if a message isn't your "cup of tea"  Ignore it. It's likely that due to diversity of this group, not everyone will care about how to use lavender oil, but will want to know how to do a liver cleanse, and what to expect, and vice versa.
