1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 garlic clove, pressed
1-1 inch peice fresh ginger root, cut in half and pressed
1/4 cup milk
1 TBS soy sauce
2 tsps packed brown sugar
1/8 tsp ground red pepper (optional)
Assorted cut-up fresh vegetables such as carrots, cucumber, zucchini, mushrooms, bell pepper, or celery

Place cream cheese and peanut butter in a bowl and mix until smooth. Press garlic and ginger root with a garlic press and add to cream cheese mixture. Add remaining ingredients except vegetables. Arrange vegetables on a platter with the dip in a small bowl in the center. Serve chilled.
