version of the bloodiest conflict in U.S. history." |

Sharon says: This was a film I found
entertaining and informative. We've all heard of the great Errol Flynn,
but beyond picturing him in a pointed green hat and robbing the rich to
give to the poor (Robin Hood, duh!) I'd never heard anything. So
when I discovered one of my favourite actors was going to play Mr. Flynn,
I watched. What I got was a film showing Errol Flynn as someone who
was sympathetic, likeable and above all, human. Duncan Regehr's portrayal
of him was brilliant. I came away feeling happy, sad and looking
forward to Duncan Regehr's next show! WATCH IT!! |

David
says: This
is is basically Star Trek crossed with the Goonies. Basically a ship
of very young cadets set sail on board a starship called, you’ve guessed
it, Earth Star Voyager. Film starts well enough with the crews leaving
Earth and getting to know one another but goes decidedly down hill when
they land on a planet owned by a lunatic ex-captain. Duncan Regehr
plays an old ship Captain who comes on board and takes command of the ship.
He plays the role well and comes off playing it very differently to his
role as Charles in ‘V’ and Shakaar in ‘DS9’. The banter he has with
the ship’s computer, who has the memory engrams of an old flame , I believe,
are quite amusing but overall the film is a bit of a let down. |

the last years of Billy the Kid. Fine location cinematography enhances
the realism, but the script and direction all but sink this TV movie." |

3 out of 5. "After being struck by a
car, an unconscious writer (Lindsay Wagner) replays her losses and mistakes.
Having lost her husband and daughter in a fire, she has failed to
recognize her second chance for happiness.
Perhaps more compelling than her love life are her attempts to help her
deaf son. Passable melodramatic fare." |

TV Series - Regular Roles
1979
|
TV Show: |
"Matt and Jenny" |
|
Character: |
Kit |
|
Costars: |
Megan Follows, Derrick Jones |
|
# of Episodes: |
Unknown; the show lasted for one season |
|
Comments: |
This was a short-lived Canadian series. I vaguely recall it.
Matt and Jenny were two children (I believe parentless) and Kit was a mountain
man type who cared for them. (I wonder how accurate this memory is!) |
1983-1984
|
TV Show: |
"Wizards and Warriors" |
|
Character: |
Prince Dirk Blackpool |
|
Costars: |
Julia Duffy, Jeff Conaway |

# of Episodes: |
8 (Aired February 26, 1983 to May 14, 1983) |
|
Comments: |
Again, I recall this show vaguely and remember that I enjoyed it.
It was a spoof of medieval times... Regehr was an evil prince and Duffy
was the virginal princess he was after. |

Josh sends this great
review: Wizards and Warriors was a period adventure series for young
and old set at 8pm. It was done strictly for laughs, with a few dramatic
parts thrown in to set the scenes. Wizard Tranquil was all white
hair... just long flowing hair... the Wizard Vector (Clive
Revill) always had some sort of high headgear on that one assumed were
hats. One episode Dirk was drunk and playing a game with Vector.
He said, "If I win I get your hat", to which Vector replied, "This isn't
a hat." The special effects were superb for their time. Definitely
worth a watch just for the belly laughs, or just to listen to Dirk's leather
outfit squeak! |
