Who runs this site:

This site was originally started by T'avri & silver_senshi17 on July 14, 2000 as Mangaddict. T'avri, however, knew little about anime (but a hell of alot about Sci-Fi) and already had a site of her own to run. This left silver_senshi17 as the sole proprieter of all of violeTThunder. If there's more you want to know about silver_senshi17 herself try going to "a little diddy 'bout me" and reading my personal profile.

Why is most of violeTThunder Sailor Moon related:

Sailor Moon was the first anime that I really got into it was the one that eventually led me into the world of anime and manga in the first place and for that it will always be on the top of my list. This is why I have so much more of sailor moon than anything else here.

Well that's really more of a comment than a question. Originally I wanted violeTThunder to be one of the best all-porpose sites around. Now thanks to various realitys I've shrunk back to mainly anime. Also I've decided to make this a mostly gallery oriented site & while I have huge collections of pics it takes alot of time to load, sort, name, and place these pics into thumbnails, onto easy-to-load pages, and then to string all those pages together.

Why the name violeTThunder:

Well I wanted my own web-site for along time and eventually came up with that name. violet/purple is my fave color and has been as long as I can remember. Really there is no cute little story behind it, I just thought it sounded cool.

What is the Red Dragon:

The Red Dragon will eventually be a sort of interactive fantasy graphics shop. I'm trying to keep it more away from anime but with the current summer clean-up project that I've had going I haven't really had time to do any more to it than the crystal ball aisle. The name itself was based on a painting that I did late this school year and liked. You can see a piece of the painting on the button for the Red Dragon and if I ever get around to it I might put up the rest of the painting someware in there as well.
