 A happy Todd comes rushing over to give her a hug and Jean gives Charlie one of those looks...

 Pick on Jean day continues, only now she's not putting up with it any more... in a BIG way. She can't believe that Matt was working with Dani, but above that, that someone else had to tell her about it.
 Matt assumes Kris told her, but Jean says that Kerry was the one who said. Matt reminds her that she was the one that asked him to train Wildfire. Jean gets angry, "Are you blaming me?
 Matt tells her that Kris is okay with the whole thing, Jean checks with her to make sure.

 Matt says he'd hoped he'd earned the freedom to at least make money for himself. "No matter how hard you work around here," says Jean angrily, "you will never earn the right to work for Davis." Matt reminds her that Dani isn't her father and Jean's answer is "But he is her father, and you remember that!" before storming out of the room in anger.

 Jean can't believe she's come to watch Todd fight in his first match. He's excited that she and Charlie are there, but she is worried that she's "raising Bruce Lee."
 Jean can't help asking Charlie what the odds are that Todd won't get hurt in the whole thing. She's got her own idea of what will go on.. including eye gouges. Charlie assures her that they don't allow that kind of thing in karate.
