The best HTML standard reference
This isn't a book you read cover to cover. It's more like a dictionary, with clear, easy to understand directions and explainations for everything covered. It even tells you what problems exist between different browsers if you use certain coding, as well as has the new coding for 4.0 browsers. There's even some explaination of JavaScript and DHTML.

A funny and very informative look at HTML
It was pretty much easy to read and understand. Its step-by-step approach, with lots of images and tips, was an excellent way to learn.

Excellent book for all developers
This book has explicit reference information on HTML, CSS, DOM, & Javascript and has excelent cross referencing in the end of the book. It gives some good details in the beginning chapters of the book on how to apply DHTML to both leading browsers (Netscape & IE).

This book has the best explanations, clearly illustrated examples, and tons of well written information that helps you not only understand Javascript but also clearly understand the environment the scripts live in, the Browser. The Javascript Bible is a very detailed book that makes it easy to find info quickly and explains things thoroughly. I highly recommend this book.

great information and excellent reference for language
This is an excellent reference, and points out differences between the different implementations. It is organized well and gives the details that you need to know.
