Kennedy Airport; from there I flew to SanFrancisco, CA; on to Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii; then to Guam; Tokyo, Japan; then on to Hong Kong, BCC; onManila, Philippines; took the train to Baguio, Philippines. I was there teaching for a year, Then I got the book at Manila and sailed to Singapore - where I had tea at the Raffles Hotel; on to Bombay, India; then to Aden and through the Suez Canal to Cairo, Egypt - where I rode a camel - a real funny sight!! From Cairo to Naples, Italy; on to Rome, Italy by train; Then by train to Paris, France - where I met my parents and then we went to Amsterdam, Netherlands; to Copenhagen, Denmark; to Oslo, Norway; to Stockholm, Sweden - where I saw the newly discovere viking ship that had been brought up from the harbour; Then to Heathrow, England; on to London, England; then to Dover, England to board the ship back to New York City. (By the way, Hunter, and Mariah, Tamaracks are pine trees that lose their needles in the Fall, just like trees lose their leaves in the Fall. The needles turn a lovely orange color, and drop) Right now, it's still cold, but most of our snow in the Valley has melted. Our days are sunny, and the crocuses, and daffodils are pushing their green heads out of the ground. We have much wildlife here in Montana. Deer, elk,moose, black bear, Grizzly bear, Mtn. Lions, Bighorn Sheep, Mtn. Goats, eagles, osprey, hawks, etc. are just a few of the animals here. Our children are lucky because sometimes their Dad will have to bring home an injured animal before taking it to a rehabilitator. I have a son who is 20 yrs old now who was diagosed with A.L.L Lieukemia at the age of 3 yrs old. At that time I was a single mom and I had 2 other children to take care of. I never left my son alone at Childrens Hospital in Oakland California when he was in the hospital for chemo. It is so hard to have a lil one sick with cancer.
