Banana Cake
From Drako - Belgium
Ingredients: 4 oz (110 g) Butter or margarine
6 oz (170 g) sugar
8 oz (220 g) plain flour
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons hot milk
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
2 mashed bananas
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, bananas, warm milk & bicarb.
Mix well.
Stir in flour & baking powder.
Put in greased 2 lb loaf tin or sponge tins.
Bake in hot oven (190°C, gas 5, ???°F) for 1 to 1 1/2 hrs
Cover in Lemon icing or lemon butter icing
