BUTTER SPRITZ

1 cup butter
½ cup granulated sugar
1 egg
½ tsp. almond extract
2 1/4 cups flour, sifted

Cream together the sugar and butter. Beat in the egg and extract. Slowly blend in flour.

Divide the dough into thirds and add food coloring to each third. Fill cookie press and have fun.

Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Makes about 4 dozen.
