Here are two quick recipes for those of us who don't have time to cook. I use these two a lot. My two daughters can even make these. One is a casserole and a dessert.
The first is what I call a green rice casserole some may call it a broccoli casserole.
Cook rice and broccoli separate by instruction on your box. Add cook rice and broccoli to casserole dish. Add the whole jar of Cheez Whiz. Add whole can of mushroom soup. Mix all together place in oven at 350 degrees for just about 10 minutes and your done.
Mix all the ingredients in large bowl. Stir by hand till all ingredients are mix well. Pour in Pie crusts refrigerate for about a hour and serve.(do not use mixer or over stir or it will be to soupy just enough to have it all mix well).
These were handed down to me from my mother not sure where she got the recipes. Hugs Diva Lynn
Peanut
butter balls, yummy,
Ok here it is, *S*
18 oz. Peanut butter
4 cups powdered sugar
1 cup soft better
Mix till smooth or until your arms fall off, *S*
refrigerate this for 90 minutes!
This second part is so hard, I am serious!!
3 Hershey Bars, shredded
1/2 bar of paraffin wax, shredded
Now shred the Hershey bars quickly with a mouth full of peanuts, as you need the
chocolate, and must save it for the recipe. Chewing the nuts while shredding will keep you
from snitching
Now in a double boiler or a greased measuring cup, melt the wax and chocolate.
Stir well and keep a close eye on it, no not to snitch it, to keep it from burning and
scorching!
ok take the peanut butter mixture and roll into one and a half inch balls, then put on a
parchment lined cookie sheet and freeze for twenty minutes.
Now with a bamboo skewer, swirl it in the chocolate mixture, and then put on pan, then
refreeze, than have three sandwiches, a pitcher of your favorite liquid, and then a bag of
chips, whew, now you are too stuffed to eat the treats, now put them in an air tight
container, and look at them.
You may add sprinkles to the balls after coating them with chocolate, or you can add
chopped nuts, powdered sugar, or drizzle with caramel.
Yummy going to go make some now.
Smiles and grins,
Faelynn
