Book dedication: Once again this book is for my wife Danielle Antoinette
The book was known as THE DELTA DECISION in the United States. The term 'Delta' means the immediate and swift suppression of any terrorist incident, killing anyone who resists.
WILD JUSTICE was the last 'non-themed' novel that Wilbur Smith wrote until ELEPHANT SONG in 1991.
A TV mini-series (sometimes called COVERT ASSASSIN) was shot in 1993, starring Roy Scheider as Peter Stride. The characters in the film do not necessarily equate to those in the book which shows how 'liberally' the book was adapted. Although too insignificant to have received any votes on the Internet Movie Database, one 'critic' hailed it as the 'absolute greatest work of art [he] had ever seen' (is this guy for real?). |
Reader Reviews |

From Andre' Mes - | |
International terrorism has never really interested me, but thanks to Smith's narrative, I found this book as riveting as the real-life situations that grip the world with fear. Smith's meticulous attention to detail and thoroughly-researched themes brought the characters to life as we follow the troubled and often horrific career of General Peter Stride. I couldn't put the book down and literally finished it in a few days. The neat little twist at the end is most effective!
