For the first time ever we're posting the entire February 1999 M.W.A. article that was featured on the "Paw Prints" Buena Park High School Newspaper.

MWA Allstars groovin' to the beat.

Have you ever heard of MWA Entertainment, Co? Probably not, because this company just began a few years ago and is still developing.

MWA Entertainment is "A company built to entertain an English and Spanish audience." said William Chavez, owner of MWA.

MWA used to be a record company, but in February 1998, MWA became an entertainment company. Chavez said "I feel really good about what we have done. It puts our creativity on a new level."

There are 10 people under the MWA label. Chavez, Marcos Ramirez, Juan Pineda, Jose Ochoa, Victor Sanchez, Edwin Chavez, Jaime Carillo and Eric Anguiano are known as the MWA Allstars.

"MWA Breakout" and "MWA Attitude" are two CD's under the MWA label. These CD's include rap, spanish rock, and spanish dance music. Four singles, four music videos and a play (Macbeth) have also been produced.

"I expect that the MWA projects will continue in a bigger, more powerful way." said Chavez. Solo albums are expected from some of the allstars.
