Comments
Dr.Boehm Says: Weeds on the littoral zone provide the majority of the
cover. Northern Pike clearly offer the most action in
this habitat. Spinnerbaits, in-line spinners and floating
minnow-type lures are a good choice. Sturgeon are a popular
species during the breif September to October season. Sturgeon
are caught by still-fishing with a variety of baits on the
bottom. The inlet area is the best area for the occasional
"monster" Muskie that swims these waters. Walleye success is
highest in the spring using a jig and a minnow.
