Arthur Carlson-General Manager
Bumbly and affectionate, Mr. Carlson isn’t your typical businessman. In fact, he’s barely a businessman at all!!! He has very little knowledge on how to run a good station, and leaves all the work to Andy, the program director. His office, though it has the tools of a businessman, is more of a play/nap room. But despite his....lack of business capabilities, he’s well liked, and he can be very affectionate to his employees. As Jennifer, the receptionist, put it so well, he’s “ the occasionally confused but always concerned father” of WKRP.

Andy Travis-Program Director
Handsome, capable, and confident, Andy comes to WKRP determined to make it a success. With his abilities and perfect record, Andy is most definitely a “success-orieted, competent” person, though he’s finding WKRP a very different place from the other stations where he worked.

Bailey Quarters-Commercial Programmer and sometime news broadcaster
Even though she’s shy, don’t underestimate Bailey. Behind that shyness is a very ambitious personality, and she can be outgoing when provoked, especially around the bane of her existence, Herb Tarlek. She truly is the “beautiful shy sister with brains” that Jennifer sees.

Jennifer Marlowe-Receptionist
Probably the highest paid employee at WKRP, Jennifer is beautiful and intelligent, though she does very little at work other than protect Mr. Carlson from having to do his job. But despite her lack of labor, she can be very perceptive, and very kind.
