Welcome to the Women's Studies Program

Welcome to the website of Purdue University Calumet's Women's Studies Program.

Women’s Studies is an interdisciplinary field that places gender at the center of teaching and research for the purpose of freeing the world from oppression.

The PUC Women’s Studies Program offers courses that can be taken individually or combined into the Women’s Studies minor  or a Women’s Studies Concentration in the Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts .

The Women’s Studies Program also sponsors events  that address the personal, professional, cultural, and educational needs of a diverse population of women in Northwest Indiana.
