Change Q51 to ECG37 or eqiv.
Change Q53 to 2SA473
Change R178 to 3k ohm
Put R178 in place of R194
Put R194 in place of R281
Parallel C270 with a 470pf 1kv disc cap.
TALK BACK
Lift one leg of D78 (1n914).
Replace D115 with a .0047 uf disc cap.
Run a SPST switch in line with the lifted leg of D78
to make it switchable.

L34, L13, L14, L16,- AM Power
VR13- AM Power (high)
VR15- AM Power (low)
VR12- SSB Power ALC (high)
VR16- SSB Power ALC (low)
Q32- Modulation limiter
REMOVING Q32, WILL IN MOST CASES, OVERMODULATE THE RADIO. IT IS BEST TO LEAVE IT IN.
