Jessie touts a big gun and a hot-headed, reckless, and rude attitude. However, first impressions are usually misleading, as it was for Billy who had the shock of his life when Jessie walked into his orphange and claimed he was his long lost father that had deserted his family all these years. He is almost the complete opposite of the calm, polite Billy, which made it more surpising for him. Jessie, never at a lost for words, worked to regain Billy's trust while withholding deep secrets that would affect Billy and all he stood for. And though he would never seem like the prototypical father, his love for Billy and his sister Primera was expressed in his own ways. Jessie is a master gunslinger and taught his skill to Billy when he was at a very young age. He is a valuable member of the team because of his battlefield experiences and his past life on Solaris, before he escaped to Ignas. His acquaintances with Citan and as Sigurd's senior commander at the Jugend Academy create a trio of Solarian historians and veterans of the struggle between the Lambs and the Abels.
