Janet Hedger works as an independant, freelance special effects Artist.(among other passions)Designer, Creator, Arts Director of Special FX for:~
Film, TV, Theatre, specializing in Fantasy, Horror, Sci-Fi Prosthetics, Makeup, Scenic Artistry, Props, Period Costuming, Animated Puppetry, Graphical manipulation and Animation Special Effects.
Her current Base is in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, but also has a business located in Seattle USA.
Other than working on DITF, a qualified producer in her own right, Janet can provide costuming, makeup specialized props and sets for all Media Genres including outdoor advertising.
In her amateur film work, she has assisted on a number of "Fan and Student" productions.
'Disturbance in the Force' Janet was lucky to be teamed with some very talented people such as
Dave Hankin - prosthetic sculpture, model and large scale set building,
Ebony Jo Gamble - claymation, digital animation
both of which 'rule' in their own specific fields of creative media.
