1. Who cares what the folks in DC think of the AZLP? I don't. We have more in common culturally with people in Mexico than we do with people back east. Why let them dictate our policy. Besides, the New Hamshire LP should be the biggest laughing stock. They have elected a life long democrat, as an LP, who won and actually got wrote and passed a tax increase!!! (But I do understand that many were doing back flips over the idea of Buttrick as a judge because they thought there were no libertarian judges)
2. The problem with the greens is they want to get every one into their party. They have no philosophy other than save the planet. What makes the LP worth my time is that its a party of philosophers, some better than others, who argue their principles.
When I see Ed Kahn's billboards around town saying Libertarian=antiabortion, it pisses me off. I'm a libertarian who disagrees and I'm not going to sit back and say, "Oh that Ed, I see our differences, but we have so much in common."
Lets just say that some body joined the LP, but decided that crack was bad and should be illegal. Would you argue with this person or just focus on marijuana legalization? Are you are a revoltutionary or a gradualist?

But Erik, we can do both. Atleast I can. I fight them in my own ways and fight other libertarians on listservs and in person. What is the point of working toward a goal, your goal, if most of your comrades only want to go half way?
This is why the LP gets and deserves our criticism.
